Yokohama Tires is a Japanese tire company based in Tokyo, Japan. Founded in 1917, the company was initially developed in a joint venture between Yokohama Cable Manufacturing and BF Goodrich. Yokohama produces an extensive range of passenger, high performance, off road, commercial, summer, and light truck/SUV tires. By 1969, Yokohama had successfully entered the United States tire market. Yokohama has become the official tire manufacturer and presenting sponsor for the IMSA Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge series as well as sponsoring NBA teams such as the Boston Celtics and San Antonio Spurs. The company is well regarded in the international aftermarket scene for their ADVAN tires. With over 100 years of experience in the automotive industry, Yokohama has become a giant in terms of tire technology and innovation.
